Health Care Assistant/Support Worker

Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Following individualised care plans to meet specific health and wellbeing needs
- Monitoring and recording changes in clients' conditions and reporting to senior staff
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with medication administration as per training and protocols
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Using IT systems to update records and document care activities accurately
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- A driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication
- Familiarity with IT systems used for record-keeping and documentation is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to build rapport with clients and team members
