Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Manager located in the City of Bristol. The Registered Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting the delivery of high-quality care.
Responsibilities include staff management, recruitment, training, and development, as well as budgeting and resource allocation. The Registered Manager will also take an active role in risk assessments, policy implementation, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for both service users and staff.
Requirements
- Leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and motivating teams
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, including experience handling budgets and resource allocation
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and experience with care quality standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and team-building
- Empathy and a person-centered approach to care delivery
- Relevant professional qualifications in health and social care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent)
- Proficiency in documentation, planning, and conducting assessments
- Familiarity with safeguarding practices and risk assessments
- Experience in working within residential care or supported living environments is an advantage
