Brookfield Residential Care Home is looking for an experienced and compassionate Residential Home Manager to lead our care home, support our dedicated team, and ensure our residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity, safety and support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is confident in leadership, compliance and people management and is committed to creating a positive, person-centred environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential care home.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance and support to the care team.
- Recruit, develop, supervise and motivate staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant care legislation, regulations, policies and safeguarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate care records, documentation and operational processes.
- Work closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Monitor care quality and implement continuous improvements where required.
- Manage staffing, resources and budgets effectively.
- Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive culture throughout the home.
- Lead by example and ensure residents? dignity, independence and wellbeing remain at the heart of the service.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent).
- Previous experience managing a residential care home or similar care environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of care home standards, compliance and safeguarding.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and supportive management style.
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
