Role Summary
As a Night Care Assistant at Snydale Care Home, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents during night hours. Your compassion and dedication will help create a safe and nurturing environment for those in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure residents receive adequate nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other care team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
