Belong is a not-for-profit, values-based organisation that provides everyone who works with us, or uses our services, the opportunity to make a positive impact by promoting active lifestyles, independence and wellbeing for older people.

About the Role

We are looking for people who can show passion and commitment to supporting and promoting a varied, interesting and easily accessible activity programme. This could involve supporting an exercise class, hosting a quiz or darts session, or joining customers for a game of dominoes. One thing is for sure, no two days are ever the same.

You will be providing opportunities for customers, both within the village and those living in the local community, to take part in new activities and enjoy existing hobbies. Your role will be to create positive experiences that make a real difference to someone's day, whether in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. This is an essential part of the role and the Belong lifestyle within our villages.

Whether this is your first role in a care environment, you are looking to develop your career, or you are considering a change in career direction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About You

You will be:

Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable
Passionate about supporting older people and improving wellbeing
Creative in finding ways to engage customers and members of the local community
Always willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge
Committed to making a positive difference every day

This is a highly rewarding role for the right person, offering the opportunity to help people stay active, connected and engaged.

Reasons to Join Us

With a range of attractive benefits and continuous learning and development opportunities, this is an exciting and unique opportunity for the right person.

As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
