About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Trainer & Tutor - Health & Social Care to join our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of Health and Social Care programmes, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential.

- Support and guide learners through their qualifications, ensuring clear communication and regular progress reviews.
- Conduct workplace observations, giving constructive feedback to help learners grow and succeed.
- Make effective use of technology and digital learning platforms to enhance teaching delivery.
- Provide detailed, high-quality feedback on assessments and learner progress.
- Undertake Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) duties where qualified, ensuring consistency and compliance across programmes.
- Maintain accurate records in line with the awarding body, funding, and data protection requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and continuous improvement of the learner experience.

You may already be a qualified tutor or trainer with a solid track record of classroom or workplace delivery, or you might be a highly experienced CYP assessor who is ready to take the next step in a more delivery-focused role.
You’ll be confident leading live sessions — either online or in person — and able to adapt your approach to different audiences. You’ll also be comfortable using digital tools and platforms to support and assess learning.
A collaborative approach, good communication skills, and the ability to build supportive relationships with learners and employers are essential.

- Experience working within the Health and Social Care sector (Adult or CYP).
- Recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (Level 5 or above).
- IQA qualification (desirable).
- Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (minimum).
- Strong IT and digital literacy skills, with confidence using online learning platforms.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade B or above.
Why Join Us?
- Flexible hybrid working – combine home-based working with visits to our central Birmingham office.
- Supportive, values-driven organisation with a genuine commitment to quality and staff development.
