About The Role
We are currently recruiting for FULL & PART TIME FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS to work with our client, who has a spinal cord injury, living in their own home in the WV10 area of Wolverhampton.
You will be working with our client on a 2-1 basis to build a professional, working relationship and support him with activities of daily living, in social and leisure activities at home or in the community.
This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Hours: Days 7 am to 7 pm with waking & sleeping nights 7 pm to 7 am
Pay Rates
- £16.50 per hour Monday to Friday, day shifts
- £18.00 per hour Saturday to Sunday day shifts
- £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday, waking night shifts
- £19.50 per hour Saturday to Sunday waking night shifts
- £11.50 per hour Monday to Sunday, sleeping night shifts (4 hours paid at waking night rate)
- £12.50 per hour training rate
Skills
- Experience with spinal cord injuries is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with our client and their family
- A valid driving licence is required to drive our clients' adapted vehicle.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role.
