Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of young people? Northridge Care Group is looking for dedicated Residential Childcare Practitioners to join our team, supporting young people to thrive in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
About Northridge
Founded in 2020, Northridge has grown from a single children’s home into a trusted multi-service provider across Lancashire and the Northwest.
Our organisation is built on a clear mission: to improve outcomes for children and young people through high-quality care, education and specialist support. Everything we do is centred on creating safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive and reach their full potential.
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Key Worker to support children and young people in their daily lives. In this role, you will play an important part in helping them feel safe, valued, and supported while developing the skills they need for the future.
You will provide consistent, warm, and empowering care, ensuring every young person’s individual needs, voice, and rights are respected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting children and young people with care planning, daily routines, and the development of essential life skills.
- Providing consistent, nurturing support that empowers young people to grow in confidence and independence.
- Helping young people navigate challenges, celebrating their achievements, and encouraging positive outcomes.
- Safeguarding and advocating for young people, ensuring their wellbeing remains the highest priority.
- Contributing to the maintenance of high Ofsted standards while promoting a culture of safety, stability, and personal growth.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and help them build brighter futures.
What we’re looking for:
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are qualified in Residential Childcare (or hold an equivalent qualification), or who can demonstrate strong relevant experience in children’s residential settings.
Why Join Us?
At Northridge Care Group, we value our people as much as the young people we support. We offer:
- Excellent pay scales
- Clear development and progression plans
- Comprehensive training and induction
- Recognition schemes, including Employee of the Quarter, and bonuses linked to company performance
- Company-paid events, seasonal functions & team-building activities
If you are resilient, compassionate, and committed to helping young people achieve their potential, we’d love to hear from you.
