Health Care Assistant/Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patients and residents within care homes and home care settings.

Duties
- Assist with daily personal care routines, including washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support residents with their care plans, ensuring individual needs are met effectively
- Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a clear understanding of care requirements
- Support with light domestic tasks such as tidying living areas and assisting with meal preparation
- Willing to work flexibly to facilitate the needs of our clients
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required
- Monitor health conditions and report any concerns promptly to senior staff
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with organisational policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience of a minimum of 12 months in a Home Care Setting Is essential
- A minimum of NVQ 2 is essential. NVQ3 is desirable.
- £24,420.00-£27,245.00 per year UK Valid driving licence is COMPULSORY for this role.
- MUST have own car.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards individuals requiring support
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a caring environment
