Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Manager, based in Downpatrick. The Registered Manager will oversee the daily operations of a residential service, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
Responsibilities include managing care plans, leading and mentoring staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. The role also involves providing direction in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes and identifying opportunities for service development.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and mentoring staff
- Knowledge and experience in child protection and safeguarding practices
- Ability to develop and manage care plans while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution skills, and emotional intelligence
- Experience in a residential or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks and standards for social care
- Relevant qualifications in Social Work
- Proficient organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally if required
