Head of Care (Registered Manager)
Following the promotion of our current Registered Manager to an exciting new opportunity after ten successful years with Home Instead Down & Lisburn, we are looking for an exceptional leader to build on those strong foundations and lead the next chapter of our Home Instead team.
We believe that ageing should not mean giving up the life you love. Every day, our team helps older people and other adults remain independent, connected and happy in their own homes through care that is warm, thoughtful and relationship-led.
We provide the quality care we’d want our own parents to have – always minimum visits of one hour, with Care Professionals matched to meet the client’s needs and able to help them live the fullest lives. Our team of carefully selected Care Professionals provides dementia support, home help, meal preparation, personal care, overnight care and live-in care.
This is a leadership role for someone who shares our values and wants to provide fantastic care.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for leading our established care team, ensuring outstanding care for our clients and maintaining the high standards expected of a regulated service.
You'll work closely with the business owner and wider leadership team to:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated office and care team
- Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Act as Registered Manager for the service
- Support clients and families through assessments and care planning
- Maintain excellent standards of compliance and governance
- Develop and support colleagues to grow and thrive
- Build positive relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners
- Help shape the future direction of the business
What we're looking for
We're interested in people who combine strong leadership with genuine compassion.
You might already be a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Care Manager looking for your next opportunity.
You'll ideally have:

- Experience within the care sector, including some domiciliary care experience
- Proven track record of achieving growth in a previous role
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of RQIA standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to delivering exceptional care
We're looking for someone who is energised by growth. Someone who enjoys meeting new families, understanding what matters to them, and helping them find the right care solution. You'll recognise opportunities, build relationships and help ensure that the business continues to thrive while maintaining the highest standards of care.
What makes this role different?
- An established and respected Home Instead office
- An experienced local team
- A unique opportunity to carry out a registered manager role with a focus on growth and operations
