Purpose of the Role
The Registered Manager has overall responsibility for leadership, management, development and regulatory compliance of RSD Fostering, ensuring outstanding outcomes for children and full compliance with fostering legislation, National Minimum Standards and Ofsted requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership; Regulatory Compliance; Safeguarding; Foster Carer Recruitment & Retention;
- Children's Outcomes; Team Management; Quality Assurance; Fostering Panel oversight; Business Development; Financial Responsibility.
Essential Experience
Qualified Social Worker; Social Work England registration; significant fostering management experience; inspection experience; safeguarding expertise; leadership of social work teams; knowledge of fostering legislation; quality assurance and organisational growth.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work (or recognised equivalent); Social Work England registration
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to achieve if required).
Skills & Competencies
Leadership, communication, strategic planning, decision making, emotional intelligence, coaching, organisation, report writing, budgeting and IT skills.
