Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker and Driver to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalised, high-quality care to support individuals in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. This position involves driving and providing comprehensive 2:1 care support tailored to our client's daily needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Transport: Safely transport the client from school using the client’s own van.
- Home Support & Routine: Assist the client in settling comfortably at home after school, prepare and serve snacks, and support them with engaging activities and daily routines.
- 2:1 Personal Care: Provide expert 2:1 support with personal care tasks, including:
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting and personal hygiene support
- Feeding and dietary assistance
- Mobility & Safety: Deliver attentive supervision and physical support with mobility, safe transfers, and overall safety management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in care work or supporting individuals with personal care, manual handling, and transfers is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Reliable, empathetic, patient, and deeply committed to high standards of care.
- Compliance: Access NI enhanced disclosure and satisfactory references will be required.
