Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Dudley / Wolverhampton
Pay: Up to £52,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new therapeutic 3-bed children’s home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This is an excellent opportunity to open and develop a service from the ground up, supported by an established and forward-thinking care provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of staff
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
- Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care
- Build a positive, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Drive continuous improvement and outcomes
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People
- Minimum 3 years in residential childcare
- At least 2 years in a senior/leadership role
- Experience supporting young people with EBD
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Experience with Ofsted inspections
- Track record of developing teams or improving services
