Registered Manager – Children's Home
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Location: Liverpool
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Ofsted Manager to lead a children's home specialising in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children while ensuring the home maintains the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and management to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and achieves outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of young people.
- Lead, support, and develop staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed to protect the well-being of children.
- Manage budgets effectively and ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Build positive relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Deputy Manager in a children's residential home or currently working as a Registered Manager.
- Strong experience working within EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) homes.
- Proven track record of achieving outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and children's home legislation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
