Home Instead Redditch is looking for an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service.
As the CQC Registered Manager, you will have full accountability for the regulated activity, while leading a team committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
The role
You will:
- Take full responsibility for CQC compliance, quality and safeguarding.
- Ensure the service is consistently safe, compliant and inspection-ready.
- Lead, coach and develop the office team and Care Professionals.
- Ensure clients receive outstanding, personalised care.
- Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and performance.
- Manage care plans, risk assessments, audits, reviews, incidents and complaints.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families and health and social care professionals.
- Develop local referral and community relationships to support sustainable growth.
- Take ownership of KPIs, budgets and overall service performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across the service.
- Lead and participate in the on-call rota, providing flexibility when the needs of the business require it.
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous management experience within domiciliary care or another regulated care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, care legislation and quality assurance.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with KPIs and budgets.
- A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
- The confidence and accountability to take ownership of a regulated service.
