Health Care Assistant (Female)
Location: In-person (Home Care Setting)
Pay: £520.69 – £1,112.80 per week

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support individuals in home care settings.
In this role, you will play a key part in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life through personalised, day-to-day support.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Assist with medication and clinical procedures (where trained), including:
- Medication administration
- Physiotherapy support
- Catheter care, PEG feeding, or tracheostomy care
- Support mobility and safe transfers to prevent falls and promote independence
- Follow and contribute to individualised care plans
- Offer emotional and social support, including companionship
- Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and light cleaning
- Monitor and report changes in health or wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication skills and good command of English
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Experience in home care or care home settings (preferred, not essential)
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication
- Driving licence and own transport (highly desirable)
