About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Manager for Burgess Care. Burgess Care is a residential service providing specialist support for adults with autism and complex learning disabilities.
This property supports 20 people and is made up of four houses and one apartment. Lifeways are seeking individuals who embody qualities of empathy, passion, honesty, courage, and a commitment to equality, we would love to invite you to be part of this!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of the people we support. The role requires a dedicated individual to provide operational management for our residential setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational management for our residential setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.
- Work as part of a local / regional leadership team where you can make a difference.
- Focus on team management and commercial awareness, with access to specialist advice from our support functions whenever you need it.
- Develop as a leader and manager while achieving your personal and professional development goals with support as an area manager.

Qualifications
- Must hold a minimum of Level 5 (or working towards) in Health social care or equivalent.
Required Skills
- A wealth of experience in people management and Health & Social care.
- A valid UK drivers’ licence.
- Qualities of empathy, passion, honesty, courage, and a commitment to equality.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, wanting to make a difference to the lives of the people we support
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within residential services providing specialist support for adults with autism and complex learning disabilities.
- Experience working within services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours.
