Health Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and be committed to delivering person-centred care.

Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
- Assist with medication management under supervision
- Support with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Travel between care homes or clients’ residences as required (driving preferred)
- Document all care activities accurately using IT systems
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple care responsibilities efficiently
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- A driving licence is advantageous for travel between locations
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for those new to the sector
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,439.05 per year
