Our client, a leading provider of specialist care, is hiring for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 7-bed children's residential home supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to guide a high-performing team and create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a motivated care team
- Ensuring full Ofsted compliance and maintaining high-quality standards
- Overseeing care planning and tracking positive outcomes for young people
- Managing referrals and admissions efficiently
- Cultivating a culture of safety, support, and motivation for young people and staff
- You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists and therapists, to deliver holistic, person-centred care.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills in a children's care setting
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and care standards
- Excellent communication and team management abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and quality care
- Relevant childcare or social care qualification
- Appropriate safeguarding and health & safety certifications
- Extensive experience in children's residential care, with a focus on SEMH support
- Track record of managing teams and ensuring compliance
